Winner of the 2010 Grange Prize - Kristan Horton

Kristan Horton Congratulations!

Vince Timpano, Kristan Horton, Barbara Astman & Matthew Teitelbaum

The Grange Prize is a unique partnership between Aeroplan and Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). This marks the third year that the Grange Prize will recognize the work of Canadian and international photographers, awarding $50,000 CDN to a winner chosen through a public vote.

The Grange Prize is the only major Canadian art prize voted on by the public. The nominating jury selects the shortlist, but the public chooses the winner.

Each year, the Grange Prize works with a different partner museum in a country other than Canada. For 2010, the Grange Prize partner museum is the MOCP (Museum of Contemporary Photography) in Chicago.

We wish to thank everyone who participated in the Grange Prize vote.
