We love getting out into nature, now we can help sustain it. From February 29th – March 6th, it’s Aeroplan Miles Match week for the David Suzuki Foundation. Each time an Aeroplan Member donates their miles, we will match the miles up to 500,000 to help the foundation in their conservation efforts across Canada.

Founded in 1990, the David Suzuki Foundation’s mission is to protect the diversity of nature and our quality of life, now and for the future. The David Suzuki Foundation will use the miles donated to support innovative work that connects Canadians with nature and safeguards our right to clean water, fresh air and healthy food. Your donated Aeroplan Miles will be used for air travel and to help offset administrative costs. This funding will translate into helping to protect more wild spaces and wildlife, building leadership capacity in remote northern communities and much much more.

Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) ~ "...perhaps the best known of all North American butterflies ... Monarchs are especially noted for their lengthy annual migration. In North America they make massive southward migrations starting in August until the first frost. A northward migration takes place in the spring. The monarch is the only butterfly that migrates both north and south as the birds do on a regular basis. But no single individual makes the entire round trip. Female monarchs deposit eggs for the next generation during these migrations. The Monarch can be found in a wide range of habitats such as fields, meadows, prairie remnants, urban and suburban parks, gardens, and roadsides. It overwinters in conifer groves. Adult Monarchs have been seen on a number of different nectar plants. Males will also take in moisture and minerals from damp soil and wet gravel, a behavior known as mud-puddling." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarch_%28butterfly%29

Why is this on here. This is offensive.

This is a contradiction in values. The DSF promotes low impact anti fossil fuel and then benifits from the outcome of consumption. David Suzuki himself does not apply the principles to his person life or finances
