Your Aeroplan Miles go a long way to support Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières

Now your Aeroplan Miles can have twice the impact when you donate them to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). From April 11th -17th, donate your miles and we’ll match them up to 500,000. It’s an easy way to support MSF, one of the world’s leading independent international medical relief organizations, and their lifesaving work.

MSF works in more than 60 countries worldwide, delivering emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.

Since the beginning of the Beyond Miles program, MSF has used donated Aeroplan Miles to contribute to MSF’s mission to save lives and respond to humanitarian crises spanning the globe. MSF uses your donated miles to fly across Canada to recruit the best medical and logistical professionals for field missions, raise public awareness for urgent humanitarian needs, and increase its capacity to deliver care to the people who need it most. MSF is renowned for its ability to respond quickly and for their efficient work in times of crises. The medical action MSF takes comes in multiple forms:

  • Emergency healthcare, including surgery
  • Mass vaccination campaigns
  • Water and sanitation
  • Therapeutic and supplementary nutrition
  • Distribution of medicines and medical supplies
  • Training and health education
  • Organization or rehabilitation of health facilities
  • Medical assistance within existing health facilities

To date, Aeroplan Members have donated more than 119 million Aeroplan Miles to MSF. Let’s work together to add even more miles in support of this amazing cause.
