Who wouldn’t want to visit the largest city in the state of Wisconsin! As a Canadian living in Quebec, I’m proud to hear that Milwaukee was first settled by a French Canadian. Who knew?! When visiting this culturally-rich city, I’d definitely make a few pit stops at the variety of breweries scattered throughout the city. Two of my favourite sitcoms often used the Milwaukee breweries as a backdrop for the storyline….Can you guess which two? I’ll give you a hint: Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!
I would love to visit Milwaukee. Being one of the first cities to be populated it retains a lot of old world charm. In recent years, it’s become a busy Metropolitan area with new developments and buildings near the water front but you can still visit the old breweries and factories. I would love to visit the Valentin Blatz Brewing Company and stroll along the Milwaukee Riverwalk.
