Located in a small fishing village, this lighthouse is now a national monument and is worth a visit.

If you love to cycle. Holland is the place to be. A few years ago, in fact MANY years ago, I did a trip to see my brother and we cycled into the neighbouring towns of Utrecht and Gouda. It was idyllic. The excellent, paved bike lanes that followed along the dykes and crisscrossed the country, did not permit cars, and friendly residents would wave as we passed by. The scenery was beautiful and tranquil as we pedalled along, We had ample opportunity to take pics or stop and grab a bite to eat. Moving from city to city was easy and definately the best way to see the country. One of the best trips I had!
