Picture of the Week – Northern Spain’s Camino de Santiago de Compostela

This picture comes to us all the way from Northern Spain.  One of our Aeroplan Employees took this picture on one of his recent trips there.

Here is more about his trip:

“The Camino de Santiago de Compostela (Way of St James) is a journey of the body, mind and spirit that millions of pilgrims have completed over thousands of years. What makes the Camino special are the fellow pilgrims you meet, the special places you visit, the stories you share and the challenges that you overcome.”

This picture was taken during our 7 day walk on the camino starting in Logrogno. I must say it was fabulous

    This looks familiar.
Did Camino last year. Quite enjoyable, although “West Highland Way” in seven days in mid winter was more of a challenge[done year before].
Overall, Spanish food much more palatable than Scot food . The Rioja wine speaks for itself.
